WHAT'S THE MUNDI MUNDI LIGHTFEST?
Mundi Mundi Lightfest is a brand-new, free lead-in event lighting up Broken Hill ahead of the Mundi Mundi Bash.
Across three nights, Argent Street will transform into a vibrant, pedestrian-only night precinct featuring spectacular large-scale drone shows – the first of their kind in the Far West of NSW – along with lighting installations, live local music and street food. It’s the perfect reason to arrive early and soak up the town before heading out to the Mundi Mundi Plains later in the week.
WHAT'S ON
NIGHTLY DRONE SHOW
A big, bright sky show above Argent Street, delivered by Elite Drone Shows.
Confirm: approx drone count + any “first time” claims.
LIGHTING INSTALLATIONS
A series of walk-through lighting installations and illuminated moments will transform Argent Street after dark, creating a whole new night-time experience in the centre of town.
MUSIC, DJs & PERFORMERS
Live performances from local artists and DJs, along with street performers throughout the precinct, will add to the relaxed, festival-style atmosphere each evening.
STREET FOOD
A range of street food vendors will be located throughout the closed-to-traffic precinct, making it easy to grab a bite while you wander.
Good to know: Argent Street will operate as a pedestrian-only night precinct during event hours (6pm–9pm).
