Wilyakali Cultural Activities

Discover the culture of the Wilyakali People – Traditional Owners of the land on which the Mundi Mundi Bash is held.

The Wilyakali Cultural Activities are a great way to engage with and learn from local Indigenous community members through hands-on experiences, storytelling, and traditional food.

All activities take place in the Wilyakali Marquee and are free to join.

Activities may include:

  • Aboriginal art painting on boards, boomerangs, or wooden animals like kangaroos, emus, turtles and more

  • Preparing and cooking your own Johnny cake over an open fire

  • Tasting kangaroo curry, a local favourite!
