There is nothing quite like seeing the red dirt expanse of the Mundi Mundi Plains from the air. The helicopter takes off from inside Mundiville, giving you a bird’s eye view of the campground, the concert area and the sweeping outback landscape stretching out in every direction.
Flights operate in a Robinson R44 helicopter, carrying 3 passengers per flight, and every passenger gets a window seat. Choose from a 6 minute or a 12 minute flight, depending on how much of the Plains you want to see. Passengers must be over 5 years of age, and anyone under 18 must fly accompanied by an adult.

Head to the booking tent
Find the helicopter booking tent in the Plaza, outside the merchandise tent. Book early when you arrive in Mundiville to get your preferred flight time, because flights fill up fast, especially during peak morning and afternoon hours.
Choose your flight and take off
Pick a 6 minute or 12 minute flight. Prices are still to be confirmed. Payment is by cash or card, with EFTPOS available on site. Flying solo or as a pair? You will need to commit to paying for all 3 seats, and the heli attendants will do their best to fill the extra seats, within weight limits.
