HOW TO GET TO MUNDIVILLE
Mundiville is located on private property, at Belmont Station. It’s a 40km drive from Broken Hill, on good sealed road. The final 2km stretch into the festival site is dirt road suitable for all vehicle types. Allow around an hour to travel between Broken Hill and Mundiville, and ensure you factor in waiting times at the entry gate during peak periods.
- Head North-West out of Broken Hill on Brookfield Ave towards Silverton, which becomes the Silverton Road. Silverton is located approximately 27km from Broken Hill.
- Continue North through Silverton where the road swings to the right after you’ve been through the town.
- The entrance to the Bash is 13km from Silverton. You’ll pass the Umberumberka Reservoir (which is around 7km from Silverton), and then after going through a dip across a causeway near the reservoir, the road turns to dirt and you’ll continue for approximately 2km to the entrance to Mundiville.
BEFORE leaving Broken Hill make sure you have your vehicle stickers and wristbands. See Ticket Collection for further info.
Please drive slowly and follow the directions of our friendly marshals as they check your wristbands at the entry gate, and direct you to your campsite.
MUNDI MUNDI LOOKOUT CLOSURE
The Mundi Mundi Lookout will be closed during peak periods. The closure has been put in place for safety reasons, and will be managed by the Broken Hill Police and Roads and Maritime Service.
Feel free to cruise past slowly and take in the view, but no stopping or exiting the vehicle is allowed.
